At Easter, Christians all over the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This is His triumph over sin and death. It is also our triumph. Alleluia!

The ancient greeting between believers captures beautifully what is in our hearts: Christ is Risen, Indeed He is Risen.

Our school family congratulations Robert and Gretchen Folk and their children, students Clarissa and Paris for their family who are receiving Sacraments at the Easter Vigil! We welcome you into our faith family.

Principal’s Corner #26

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and the beginning of the holiest week of the liturgical year. The liturgy this week commemorates the significant events in Salvation History. We begin the week with Jesus returning to the City of Jerusalem with the waving of palm branches and great fanfare. As we read the passion narrative, we see the joy of the crowd change. They are not so sure who Jesus is!

Principal’s Corner #25

Father Lldenfonce from Southern Tanzania spoke at Mass last weekend. He returned to thank our faith community for their support of the Clean Water Project and to encourage their participation again. He delivered a touching homily and I asked him to tell our students about the wonderful work that is being done to provide clean water. He accepted my invitation and the students were very receptive to his message. He told them that 80% of the people of the world do not have clean water. Our St. Vincent family wants to be part of the dream of bringing clean healthy water to 4000 villagers.
